JOB DESCRIPTION
- Oversee the accounting operations of all Verasu legal entities, especially control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures
-Issue timely and complete financial statements for internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor cash & cash equivalent, and debt levels to ensure business continuity
- Coordinate the preparations and on-time submission of Withholding tax and VAT filing to government authorities
-Develops and implements accounting policies, coordination of systems and procedures, and the preparation of operating data and special reports as required, including interim and year-end financial statements. Maintains company’s system of accounts; keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets
- Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
- Assures protection for the assets of the business through internal control, and assuring proper insurance coverage
- Lead process improvement and design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
- Coordinates with Business Technology team by providing flow chart and requirements to build new ERP software
Provides advice on all matters to Finance Director and CEO

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other related fields. Master’s or MBA is a plus
-Proficient in Navision (Microsoft Dynamics) and Excel
 8-10 year experience in accounting and supervisory experience
Experience in retail-store and chain-restaurant Industry preferred
Experience in withholding tax and VAT submission to government authorities
